For Employers
For hire.
A hard-working, reliable workforce.
We know we can make a difference and we make it easy for employers to a make a difference too. Our highly trained staff will come on to your work site and help create a supported environment so that adults with autism can seamlessly work alongside your employees. 100% of our participants have at least one paying job, many more than one.
Together, we can create the kind of workplace culture where individuals with disabilities are welcome and contributing to your business for mutual success.
How we work.
Quest provides trained job coaches that support our participants at their jobs, and teach across all areas of vocational, social, health and safety skills within the workplace. We provide a comprehensive screening and assessment process to ensure our participants are a good match for each job site they are placed in terms of their existing skill set, strengths and your needs.
Our participants work modified shifts to accommodate individualized learning styles and endurance, and we emphasize matching skills to the job required, as we know that the right job fit means a more successful outcome at work for all. We work and volunteer in various settings, with supports from the job coach as well as the participant’s supervisor and co-workers on the job. We look for jobs in our surrounding community and ideally partner with those that offer multiple opportunities as well as varied work experiences.
Ongoing training
and support.
Additionally, we offer training and support to the job site we partner with, so that they can learn about what to expect when employing individuals with autism. We can give co-workers and other work personnel an overview of autism and what is involved with this partnership. The Department of Labor Laws, in conjunction with the Americans with Disabilities Act, protects individuals with disabilities so that they can be employed part-time and make the same minimum wage as their neuro-typical co-workers. We closely monitor their hours worked and wages earned to ensure they maintain eligibility for Social Security and Medicaid.
